Managing Your Account

This page covers everything related to your Atlas account — from creating one to managing your subscription and tracking how much you’ve used.

  1. Go to atlasnotes.io and click Sign Up
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password
  3. Confirm your email address via the link sent to your inbox
  4. Your account is ready — and your free 7-day trial starts as soon as you sign in to Atlas
  1. Open Atlas and go to Settings > Account
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Enter your email and password
  4. Atlas connects to your account and checks your subscription status

Your subscription tier and usage stats will appear in Settings once you’re signed in.

The free trial starts automatically when you sign in with a new account. You don’t need to do anything extra — just sign in and all paid features become available immediately for 7 days.

When your trial ends, or if you want to subscribe directly:

  1. Go to Settings > Account and click Upgrade
  2. Choose your plan (Talk at $15/month or Walk & Talk at $20/month)
  3. You’ll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page
  4. Enter your payment details and confirm
  5. Your subscription activates immediately after payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Atlas never stores your card details.

Click Manage Billing in Settings > Account to open the Stripe Customer Portal. From there you can:

  • View invoices and payment history
  • Update your payment method
  • Change your plan (upgrade or downgrade between Talk and Walk & Talk)
  • Cancel your subscription

Open the Stripe Customer Portal (see above) and select a different plan. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Open the Stripe Customer Portal and cancel. You’ll keep full access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier — all your local data stays on your machine and nothing is deleted.

Settings > Account shows usage bars for all three metered resources:

ResourceResets
AI messagesEvery day at midnight UTC
STT minutesStart of each billing period
TTS charactersStart of each billing period

If you’re running low on a resource, the bar will show in yellow or red. For more details on what the limits are and what happens when you hit them, see Usage Limits.

Go to Settings > Account and click Sign Out. Signing out removes your credentials from the app. Your vault and local data are unaffected. You can sign back in at any time.
